Artist Statement

My artwork is inspired by my life experiences, human emotional responses and the passage of time. Some of my pieces appear as though they are captured fragments of history or recovered memories. I like to bring a sense of humour to my work and to make people smile or nod in recognition of a shared experience. I work on varying series but most are linked by these reoccurring themes.
